You need a IPAF qualification to operate a machine.
Do the machines need a safety certificate? 
Yes, cherry pickers requires a LOLER test every 6 months
Will you be able to operate the boom lift? 
No, that will be the responsibility of the operator.
Is there a time limit we can have the machine? 
Normally that will be arranged when booking the boom
